‘This Moment’ Online Community Exhibition
An inspired community where all recognize their inherent creativity and the arts foster a dialogue to enhance the quality of life in Lancaster.
That’s our vision at the Demuth Foundation. Our country is experiencing one of the largest civil rights movements in its history. We wanted to offer a safe place for expression and conversation as we work together towards change and equality.
We invited all Lancaster-based artists to reflect and respond with art, forming an online community exhibition, This Moment.
‘Still Life’ in Lancaster: Art in the Time of COVID-19
Our world has dramatically changed in 2020. Art has the power to heal and allows us to tap into emotions and experiences in new ways, as evidenced by the more than 50 artists who have shared their recent works with us.
The 'Still Life' in Lancaster: Art in the Time of COVID-19 online exhibition features these new works from local artists, reflecting on their experiences and observations over March 2020. We invite our community to explore this digital exhibition, and hope it may serve as a record of our experiences for generations to come.
