The Demuth Museum is located in historic downtown Lancaster, Pennsylvania on East King Street. There is on-street parking and a parking garage on Duke Street just around the corner. We welcome your visit and have provided the following FAQs to assist you.

Monday: Closed
Please view the Events calendar here prior to finalizing your trip. The museum will be closed for installation between exhibitions.

3. On which holidays will the Demuth Museum be closed?
The Museum will be closed for the following 2009-2010 holidays:
- Thanksgiving Day, November 26th, 2009
- Christmas Holiday, December 25th and 26th, 2009
- New Year's Day, January 1st, 2010
- President's Day, February 15th, 2010
- Easter Sunday, April 4, 2010
- Memorial Day, May 31st, 2010
- Independence Holiday, July 3rd and 4th, 2010
- Labor Day, September 6th
- Thanksgiving Day, November 25th, 2010
- Christmas Holiday, December 25th and 26th
The Museum will also be closed for the month of January.

5. I would like to take a group tour. Can you provide me with more information?
Group Visits:
Thank you for choosing to visit the Demuth Museum with your group! Before you visit, please contact the museum to make a reservation at 717-299-9940. Two weeks advance notice must be given. It is important for us to know that you will be coming to make sure that the exhibition on view is appropriate for your group and that your group is an appropriate size for the museum.
Museum Fees:
The museum is free to the public at any time; however, if you are bringing a tour group to the museum, please let us know ahead of time so that we may make necessary accommodations and we request a donation of $2 per person.
If you would like our staff to give your group a guided tour of the museum, we request a donation of $4 per person. Please request a guided tour when making your visiting arrangements with the staff. If you need to cancel your trip, please notify the staff as far ahead of the date as possible.
